The 2025 zMAX CARS Tour Championship is your last chance to catch the CARS Tour this year. Don’t miss a minute of the action from North Wilkesboro Speedway.

A long season of intense racing up and down the South Atlantic coast is coming to a close this month, but not without a huge weekend of action at the famed North Wilkesboro Speedway in North Wilkesboro, North Carolina.
The top drivers from the CARS Tour will be at the iconic five-eighths-mile oval looking to take one final checkered flag this year at the 2025 zMAX CARS Tour Championship, while those at the top of the points list also will be focused on determining this year’s overall champions.

The season-ending showdown will see champions determined in both of the tour’s divisions – CARS Tour Late Model Stock Car and the CARS Tour Pro Late Model.
The itinerary for the weekend includes three highly anticipated races, and each will end with the crowning of the 2025 champion:
- zMAX CARS Tour’s LMSC Crossroads Harley-Davidson 125
- PLM Northwest Automotive 100
- Frontier Natural Gas 99 for the SMART Modified Tour powered by Pace-O-Matic
Among the drivers expected to be present are Keelan Harvick, Ben Maier, Brandon Lopez and Dylan Garner (Pro Late Model); Connor Hall, Landen Lewis, Kade Brown, Mini Tyrrell and Landon Huffman (Late Model Stock).

Track officials have released the full schedule of events for race weekend, which will include practice, qualifying and feature races for the two divisions.
Activities begin Thursday evening and continue through Saturday’s main events.
Thursday, Oct. 16
- 6-9:30 p.m. – Track operations: Backstretch vehicle Crossover gate open (track cold)
- 6-9 p.m. – LMSC, PLM and SMART optional haulers enter
Friday, Oct. 17
- 7 a.m.-11:55 a.m. – Track operations: Crossover gate open (track cold)
- 7 a.m.-6 p.m. – Credentials open
- 8 a.m. – LMSC and PLM remaining haulers enter
- 8 a.m.-7:30 p.m. – LMSC and PLM garage/pit area hours
- 8:45 a.m. – Crew chief meeting (CARS Tour hauler)
- 9 a.m. – Haulers open
- 9:15 a.m. – PLM inspection begins, followed by LMSC inspections
- 8:30-10 a.m. – PLM tire mounting session
- 10 a.m.-noon – LMSC tire mounting session
- 10:30 a.m. – SMART haulers enter
- 10:30 a.m. – SMART garage/pit area hours
- Noon – SMART inspection begins
Practice Sessions
- 12-12:40 p.m. – PLM practice (track hot)
- 12:45-1:25 p.m. – LMSC practice (track hot)
- 1:30-2:10 p.m. – PLM final practice (track hot)
- 2:15-2:55 p.m. – LMSC final practice (track hot)
- 2:40 p.m. – PLM qualifying inspection begins, followed by LMSC
- 3-3:50 p.m. – SMART final practice (track hot)
- 3:55-5:10 p.m. – Track operations: Crossover gate open (track cold)
- 4 p.m. – SMART qualifying inspection begins

- 5:15 p.m. – SMART qualifying (impound, single car – two timed laps)

- 11 a.m. – Driver Autograph Session (Exhibit Hall)
- 12:15 p.m. – Vintage Race Car Parade Laps
- 12:15 p.m. – LMSC and PLM driver, crew chief and spotter meetings

Points By Finishing Position
At each event of the CARS Tour season, points are awarded by finishing position, and bonus point can be earned for a variety of reasons at each event.
The season’s overall champion in each division is determined by accumulated points. The structure features driver championships and owner championships.

Who Were The Winners At The 2024 CARS Tour Championship?
Conner Jones won the 2024 zMAX CARS Tour Late Model Stock race for his second win of the season, while a fifth-place finish was enough to secure the overall championship for Brenden Queen.
The Pro Late Model winner at the final event of the year, also held at North Wilkesboro Speedway, was Kaden Honeycutt, who doubled up that evening, also taking the 2024 championship. Honeycutt won three events in 2024 on the way to the title.
The successful finale was a swan song for Honeycutt, who now competes in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.
