Kubota High Limit Racing visits Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, Kan., this Friday and Saturday for the two-day Heartland of America Showdown, the second-to-last weekend for the second-year series that concludes 2025 on Oct. 17-18 at Texas Motor Speedway.
Holding off a determined Aaron Reutzel who powered from fourth to second on the initial start, second-starting Brent Marks commanded all 25 laps of Friday's opener at the 4/10-mile oval for his fourth series victory of the season. Reutzel, who finished 0.886 seconds behind, closes within 17 points of ninth-finishing Rico Abreu in the High Limit owner's title standings.
Seventeen cars finished on the lead lap in the feature that lasted nine minutes.
