After nearly a full year of racing, the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series comes to a close with one of the most exciting events on the calendar as drivers Devin Moran, Ricky Thornton Jr. and Jonathan Davenport battle it out for the championship at Eldora Speedway.

The 2025 Dirt Track World Championship at Eldora Speedway is the ultimate finale, handing out big money based on one thing: how the best drivers in the nation can show up and perform on the half-mile clay oval in one of the most lucrative races of the year.

Starting on Thursday, October 16, the event continues through Saturday night, Oct. 18 when the Dirt Track World Championship winner will be handed a check for $100,000.

Full Breakdown Of Dirt Track World Championship Purse In 2025

The Dirt Track World Championship at Eldora Speedway 2025 payout ranges from $1,000 to $100,000. The competition will culminate in a championship race on Saturday night, Oct. 18 where first place will take home the big six-figure check.

  • Oct. 16: Modified Qualifying/Heats/B-Mains, Full program for Super Stocks ($1,000-to-win)
  • Oct. 17: $5,000-to-win Modified Championship, Steel Block Late Model Qualifying/Heats/B-Mains, Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series Qualifying/Heats
  • Oct. 18: $5,000-to-win Steel Block Late Model Championship, LOLMDS B-Mains plus Jim Dunn Memorial Feature and $100,000-to-win Dirt Track World Championship

The Dirt Track World Championship takes place at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio. Built in 1954, Eldora is an oval shaped, clay track that is one-half mile in length. The venue seats 22,886 fans, though Eldora includes a hillside where spectators can bring chairs further extending the capacity.
