Following Jackson 100 weekend at Brownstown Speedway, two races are complete in the five-race Big River Steel Chase for the Championship on the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series as the tour heads to Pittsburgh's Pennsylvania Motor Speedway next Friday and Saturday.

Ricky Thornton Jr. outdueled fellow Big Four playoff driver Devin Moran to capture his first career Jackson 100 at the Indiana quarter-mile oval, good for $50,000 and an additional 10 points to his Lucas Oil title lead that's now up to 80 points over Moran with three races remaining.

Thornton commanded the final 25 of 100 laps while Moran paced a race-high 51 circuits (Laps 1-21; 46-75). Third-finishing Bobby Pierce led a total of 24 laps from Laps 22-45.

Jonathan Davenport rallied to finish seventh after a lap-45 spin sent him to the tail following contact from Devin Moran in the battle for second. Davenport now trails Thornton by 160 points with three races remaining. Hudson O'Neal's 17th-place finish drops him to 265 points behind Thornton.
