Kubota High Limit Racing makes its final swing on the East Coast with a two-race weekend through New Jersey's Bridgeport Motorsports Park on Saturday before visiting Pennsylvania's popular bullring Path Valley Speedway Park on Sunday.
Triumphing in a rain-shortened feature, touring rookie Danny Sams III made the eventual race-winning pass on Giovanni Scelzi on Lap 8 of 10 before a rainstorm forced the red flag and series officials to later call the feature initially scheduled for 30 laps official. It's the 23-year-old Sams's first career national series victory.
Scelzi, who finished in the runner-up spot two races in a row, finished 1.879 seconds behind Sams III. Brent Marks, Brad Sweet and Rico Abreu completed the top-five. Sye Lynch was the biggest mover of the race, finishing 11th from the 15th-starting spot.
