The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series held the 21st annual Lucas Oil Late Model Knoxville Nationals presented by All Makes Collision Center at Knoxville Raceway on Saturday in a record-paying 75-lap, $75,000-to-win main event.

Marvelously marching through the field from the 15th-starting position, Hudson O'Neal worked under Devin Moran for the second time on Lap 57 of 75 to claim his first-ever Knoxville Late Model Nationals victory. O'Neal took the checkers 8.368 seconds ahead of Moran to join his father Don O'Neal as a Knoxville winner.

The 75-lapper had nine lead changes among three drivers. Moran led laps 3-8, 21-23, 44-54 and 56 before O'Neal pulled away.  Jonathan Davenport led laps 1-2, 9-20 and 24-34 before slipping back and slowing on the 54th lap with terminal engine issues. Eight cautions slowed the action, four in the first seven laps.
