Entry List For The 30th ValleyStar 300 At Martinsville Speedway
Entry list for the 30th ValleyStar Credit Union 300 at Martinsville Speedway on September 27, 2025.

The wait is nearly over. The biggest race on the calendar each year for the Late Model Stock Cars is just over one week away, and the entry list for the 30th edition of the ValleyStar Credit Union 300 at Martinsville Speedway has finally been released with nearly 80 cars and teams entered with the same goal of winning a Martinsville Speedway grandfather clock.
To be exact, 79 teams and drivers have filed entries with the Martinsville Speedway offices as of Thursday morning with drivers coming from eight states to compete at the historic Virginia half-mile paperclip. The Tar Heel state leads the way with nearly 40 entries, while the Commonwealth of Virginia has nearly 30 entries. South Carolina, Maryland, Tennessee, Georgia, New York, and Wisconsin will all be represented next weekend.
Out of those 79 drivers, only six drivers have ever gotten to take home the coveted grandfather clock from Ridgeway Clocks. Lee Pulliam, Landon Pembelton, Peyton Sellers, Trevor Ward, Mike Looney, and Jamey Caudill are the only drivers entered who have won this race, while Pulliam is the only driver on the entry list to have won this race multiple times. He’s won it twice, in 2011 and 2014.
The ValleyStar Credit Union 300 also concludes the Virginia Late Model Stock Car Triple Crown, which is a three-race mini-series that also includes the Thunder Road Harley-Davidson 200 at South Boston Speedway, and the Hampton Heat at Langley Speedway.
Only four previous Triple Crown champions are on this year’s ValleyStar Credit Union 300 entry list. Lee Pulliam is a two-time Triple Crown champion. Peyton Sellers is a five-time Triple Crown champion, and Bobby McCarty and Trevor Ward have also won the Virginia Triple Crown.
This year the Virginia Triple Crown purse has received a major boost due to a partnership between NASCAR and FloRacing. A total of $50,000 will be paid throughout the top 10 in Virginia Triple Crown standings, with the champion receiving a $20,000 bonus.
Currently leading the Virginia Triple Crown standings is Connor Hall for JR Motorsports. The Hampton, Virginia driver won the Thunder Road Harley-Davidson 200 at South Boston back in June and finished second in the Hampton Heat at Langley Speedway. Hall is chasing his first victory at Martinsville Speedway.
Hall currently leads the Virginia Triple Crown standings over Ronnie Bassett Jr., Woody Howard, Darren Krantz Jr., Kade Brown, Brandon Pierce, Ryan Millington, Carson Loftin, Parker Eatmon, and Doug Barnes Jr. No driver currently in the top 10 of the Virginia Triple Crown standings has ever won the Triple Crown championship.
Hall is also chasing his first CARS Tour championship as two races remain on that schedule as well. Hall is currently 18 points out of the championship lead. Other full-time CARS Tour drivers entered in the ValleyStar Credit Union 300 include Bassett Jr., Doug Barnes Jr., Kade Brown, Parker Eatmon, Landon Huffman, Brandon Pierce, Conner Jones, Carson Loftin, and Donovan Strauss. In total, 10 full-time CARS Tour drivers will be looking in action, and all 10 are in search of their first Ridgeway Clocks grandfather clock.
