Entry Lists For CARS Tour Doubleheader At South Boston Speedway
CARS Tour entry lists for the Late Model Stock Car and Pro Late Model doubleheader at South Boston Speedway on Saturday, September 13.

Three races remain on the calendar for the 2025 zMAX CARS Tour season with all eyes now turning towards Virginia’s South Boston Speedway for the final trip to the Commonwealth. The Late Model Stock Cars and Pro Late Models both head to the lightning fast historic oval for another doubleheader.
Everyone’s gaze in the grandstands will be fixated on Landen Lewis and Connor Hall as their incredibly close points battle gets put to the test once again. Just one point separates Lewis and Hall with Hall now trailing Lewis following the Tour’s most recent race at Florence Motor Speedway on Labor Day Weekend.
But the biggest surprise on the entry list across both divisions is Huntersville, North Carolina’s Harrison Burton on the Pro Late Model entry list for Rick Ware Racing. The 2024 summer Daytona winner in the NASCAR Cup Series is making his first start with the CARS Tour in more than eight years. Burton’s last start came in the now-defunct Super Late Model division at the now-destroyed Concord Speedway in Concord, North Carolina. Both of those things no longer existing shows just how long it’s been since Burton made a CARS Tour start. But, he happened to go to victory lane that day in what currently stands as his only CARS Tour win. Burton will be driving a Pro Late Model on Saturday night, which will be his debut in that particular CARS Tour division.
Burton isn’t the only newbie to the Pro Late Model division this weekend. Caledonia, New York’s Colton Ingerick will be making his CARS Tour debut behind the wheel of his family-owned No. 2NY. Ingerick has spent much of his young racing career running Pro-4s and Super Stocks at tracks throughout Upstate New York like Spencer Speedway and Lancaster Motorplex before making the jump to Pro Late Models this year. Ingerick will be making the nearly 10-hour haul south to make his CARS Tour debut on Saturday night.
Another driver making their Pro Late Model debut is Phoenix, Arizona’s Mia Lovell. The 18-year-old driver comes from a road course-heavy background between the Toyota GR Cup and Trans-Am TA2 series, but she’s already adapting quickly to running on ovals in a Pro Late Model. Lovell finished fifth, her best finish to date, at Colorado National Speedway last month.
On the Late Model Stock Car side, Pro Late Model regular Brandon Lopez will be making his division debut behind the wheel of the Bryson Lopez Racing No. 6 machine. Lopez, who scored his first CARS Tour Pro Late Model victory at Caraway Speedway back in July, will be doing double-duty on Saturday night.
Nearly 30 Late Model Stock Cars will take to South Boston Speedway on Saturday night in a race that always manages to be a thriller for the CARS Tour, and a race that is sure to have an impact on the championship chase due to the potential for chaos that South Boston’s narrow straightaways can provide.
FloRacing’s broadcast from South Boston Speedway will go live at 4:30 p.m. ET with qualifying set to follow for each division at 4:40 p.m. ET. Racing will begin at 7 p.m. ET with the 100-lap showdown for the Pro Late Models kicking things off. The 125-lap slugfest for the Late Model Stock Cars will go green at 8:30 p.m. ET.
