Ryan Timms’ career season reached new heights Saturday at Port Royal Speedway. Fresh off his Knoxville Nationals triumph, the rising star added another crown jewel to his resume by capturing the 58th Annual Tuscarora 50 with Kubota High Limit Racing.

Timms dominated the second half of the 50-lap race and pulled away from the field to win by a 7.265 second margin over second-place finisher Justin Peck to claim the $58,000 prize. With the victory, Timms joined Kenny Weld and Doug Wolfgang as the only drivers in Sprint Car history to win the Knoxville Nationals and Tuscarora 50 in the same year. 

Peck, who led the early portion of the race, held on to finish second and Aaron Reutzel completed the podium. Parker Price Miller and Troy Wagaman Jr. rounded out the top five.
