Kubota High Limit Racing Sprint Cars hit the track Friday night at Port Royal Speedway for “The Night Before The 50.” Twenty-seven cars took the green in the lead-up to Saturday’s Tuscarora 50, and Aaron Reutzel outran them all to claim the $10,000 win.

Reutzel scored the victory in just his second race back from a foot injury suffered during the Kings Royal at Eldora Speedway in July. In addition to winning the Bob Weikert Memorial earlier this year at Port Royal, Reutzel also picked up the Friday night Tuscarora 50 win one year ago. 

Anthony Macri followed up his win on Thursday night with a runner-up performance, while Brent Marks moved up from his sixth starting position to complete the podium. Ryan Smith and early-race leader Parker Price Miller rounded out the top five.

The 58th Annual Tuscarora 50 concludes on Saturday with a $58,000-to-win main event. The race will be streamed live on FloRacing for those unable to be in attendance.
