The CARS Tour rolled into Timmonsville, South Carolina to take on the Florence Motor Speedway for a doubleheader with the Late Model Stock Cars and Pro Late Models. Dale Earnhardt Jr. was in the field for the Late Model Stock race, but it was Landen Lewis that stole the headlines by scoring his fourth win of the season. 

Lewis battled with JR Motorsports driver Connor Hall for the victory in a head-to-head battle of the points leaders. Hall entered the race with a slim four-point lead over Lewis. Lewis and his Kevin Harvick Inc. team will head to South Boston Speedway on September 13 with a slim lead of just one point unofficially.

Hall finished second with local favorites Casey Kelley and Cody Kelley in third and fourth, and Ryan Glenski completing the top five.

In the Pro Late Model race, Keelan Harvick went to victory lane from the pole position, but his path to the win was not as easy as winning from the pole sounds. Harvick lost the lead on the initial start of the race when he missed a shift coming through the gears. He slowly and methodically worked his way back towards the front, taking the lead just past halfway after a lengthy battle with Conner Jones. 

Jones finished second with Tyler Reif in third, Isaac Kitzmiller in fourth, and Brandon Lopez completing the top five.
