The CARS Tour is headed south on I-85 to Anderson Motor Speedway in South Carolina for the first time since 2017, and joining them is NASCAR Hall of Famer Dale Earnhardt Jr. in the return of the famous “baseball car” that won at Daytona International Speedway in the summer of 2001. It’s a race that you race fans are not going to want to miss, so we are laying it all out for you right here. How you can watch, what the schedule is, who is in the field, and more, all right here.

Why Is This Race At Anderson Motor Speedway Important?

Saturday’s CARS Tour doubleheader at Anderson Motor Speedway is significant and important for a few reasons. The first is that Dale Earnhardt Jr., in a partnership with Budweiser and Major League Baseball, is driving the legendary scheme that he drove to victory lane at Daytona in July of 2001 in his first race back at Daytona following the passing of Dale Earnhardt. Earnhardt Jr. unveiled the car and his plans to race this car again in front of thousands of fans at JR Motorsports Fan Day back in May.

On top of that, Saturday’s race is the first time that the CARS Tour is racing at Anderson Motor Speedway since 2017, and just the second time in the history of the Tour. Meanwhile, the points battles for the Late Model Stock Car and Pro Late Model divisions continue to get tighter as the Tour heads into its final few races.

Who Is Racing In Saturday’s Events At Anderson Motor Speedway?

In addition to Dale Earnhardt Jr., Saturday’s fields are made up of all the stars of the CARS Tour. Mini Tyrrell, fresh off the biggest win of his life in the Throwback Classic at Hickory, will be in the field as he tries to close the gap even more in the championship battle. Connor Hall, who drives for JR Motorsports, will look to widen his lead in the points standings, while Landen Lewis will try to make up some of the ground that he lost thanks to a big crash late in the race at Hickory last race. Landon Huffman, ARCA Menards Series winner Tristan McKee, Lanie Buice, Doug Barnes Jr., Brandon Pierce, and more will also be in the field.
