Entry List For Wednesday's Tekton 250 Battle At Berlin
Nearly 30 drivers have filed an entry to race for $40,000 in the Tekton 250 Battle at Berlin on Wednesday night.

The stars of the Super Late Model world are headed back to Marne, Michigan for Wednesday’s Tekton 250 Battle at Berlin with $40,000 on the line at Berlin Raceway. Nearly 30 teams have filed entries and are headed to western Michigan as we speak.
Headlining the entry list is the defending winner of this event, NASCAR Cup Series driver Carson Hocevar. The Portage, Michigan driver has been on fire at the tricky half-mile oval for the last year. Though he doesn’t get to race there frequently any longer thanks to his NASCAR obligations, Hocevar is still the current master. Hocevar took the win in this race one year ago, and then backed that up by winning the Money in the Bank 150 earlier this summer in dominating fashion. Hocevar’s victory in that race made him the all-time Money in the Bank wins leader with three victories.
Hocevar held off a hard-charging Erik Jones to score the victory in the Tekton 250 Battle at Berlin last year. Jones, who hails from Byron, Michigan, is returning to his home track of Berlin Raceway once again to try to take another victory. It’s been nine years since Jones went to victory lane in this race. Jones won the Tekton 250 Battle at Berlin two years in a row in 2015 and 2016. He’s currently tied with Johnny VanDoorn for the second-most victories in this event. Only Kyle Busch, who won it the first three years (when it was still known as the Rowdy 251) has more wins in this event.
In total there are five past winners of this race entered for Wednesday’s event including Hocevar and Jones. Bubba Pollard won this event in 2023. Local hero Evan Shotko stunned the Super Late Model world when he won this race in 2022. Boris Jurkovic from Joliet, Illinois took the victory in 2019, and multi-time track champion Brian Campbell scored his only Battle at Berlin victory in 2017.
This week’s Tekton 250 Battle at Berlin features drivers from nine different states and two countries. Michigan naturally has the most drivers in the field with 16, while three drivers, Joey Doiron, Dave Farrington Jr., and Austin Teras, will be headed west from Maine. Florida claims two drivers along with Georgia, while California, Oregon, Wisconsin, North Carolina, and Illinois each have one driver representing those states. Canada is also represented with Chase Pinsonneault will be making the trip “south of the border” from Belle River, Ontario, although technically he’s making a three-hour trek to the northwest to race at Berlin Raceway.
