Voting is now open for the 2025 CARS Tour Best Appearing Throwback Award for the zMAX CARS Tour Throwback Classic at Hickory Motor Speedway. For the third straight year, FloRacing.com will host the traditional contest that rewards teams for the hard work put into their rides. 

Between the CARS Tour Late Model Stock Cars and Pro Late Models, a total of 29 cars are eligible to win this year's award. 

This year, the winner will receive a $1,000 prize from TexaCon Cut Stone, a $500 prize from FloRacing, as well as a full Next Gen Body Kit from Five Star Race Car Bodies. The runner-up in voting will receive a free car wrap from The Decal Source, while third-place will receive a full decal set.

Beginning Friday, fans may vote up to four times daily for their favorite throwback scheme. Voting will end on Sunday, August 3 at 11:59 p.m. ET. 

The results of the contest will be announced on Monday, August 4 on FloRacing.com and FloRacing's social media channels.

CARS Tour Best Appearing Throwback Photo Gallery

The CARS Tour Throwback Classic presented by FloRacing begins with qualifying on Friday, August 1 to set the stage for the richest night in pavement late model history on Saturday, August 2. The winner of Saturday's Late Model Stock Car feature will win a whopping $50,000, while the winner of the Pro Late Model race will take home $30,000.
