CARS Tour Rookie Contender Adds New Partner For Throwback Classic
Rookie of the Year contender Donovan Strauss has added a new partner to his team ahead of the Throwback Classic at Hickory Motor Speedway.

While temperatures climb outside and competition rises in the 2025 CARS Tour season, 19-year-old rookie Donovan Strauss is turning to elite performance tools to stay sharp behind the wheel. Strauss, who drives the No. 4 Chevrolet for Hettinger Racing, is proud to welcome IV Active as a new partner for the month of August.
Currently 8th in championship standings and locked in a tight battle for Rookie of the Year, Strauss is leveraging every advantage. IV Active, a medically owned mobile IV therapy provider, will be on-site at Hickory Motor Speedway (August 2) and Anderson Motor Speedway (August 16) to deliver hydration treatments to drivers, crews, and fans alike.
“In a fire suit, surrounded by engines and heat, dehydration isn’t just uncomfortable, it’s dangerous,” said Strauss. “IV Active gives me the edge to recover faster, stay focused, and be at my best when it counts.”
Race conditions routinely expose drivers to cockpit temperatures over 120°F and cause fluid loss of up to 10 pounds per event. IV Active’s treatments are designed to replenish electrolytes, restore cognitive performance, and support physical recovery, a vital edge in a sport where every tenth of a second counts.
Catch IV Active in the infield during race day at Hickory and Anderson. Hydration services will be available for drivers, pit crews, and fans looking to perform and recover like the pros.
