Pre-Entry To Determine Format Of 2025 Gold Cup At Silver Dollar Speedway
The amount of cars pre-entered for the Kubota High Limit Racing Gold Cup Race of Champions will determine the format for the race at Silver Dollar Speedway.

CHICO, CA – The 71st Mike Curb Gold Cup Race of Champions presented by NOS Energy Drink will pay a record $100,071 one month from today when Kubota High Limit Racing comes to Silver Dollar Speedway on August 21-23.
Pre-Entry is officially open – teams can enter at bit.ly/GoldCupEntry – with an August 10 deadline serving as a crucial factor in determining the event format which will be utilized. Teams are encouraged to sign up ASAP if they plan on attending.
If 68+ entries are received by the August 10 deadline date, the traditional split-field format and 360 bonus will continue as usual with half of the field racing on Thursday, half of the field racing on Friday, and everyone coming together to chase the Gold Cup on Saturday. This not only allows more feature starters and unique format for fans, but also a night to rest and recover for teams.
However, if we do not reach the 68-entries mark by August 10, teams should be prepared to compete all three nights from Thursday-Saturday with a new format in play and accumulating event points.
Again, teams are encouraged to pre-enter ASAP at bit.ly/GoldCupEntry with 68 cars being the number needed to reach a split-field format for the 71st Mike Curb Gold Cup Race of Champions presented by NOS Energy Drink.
