One of the biggest victories in Super Late Model racing will be up for grabs next week during the 2025 Slinger Nationals at Slinger Super Speedway. A field of 36 drivers are currently entered for the prestigious race, but at the end of the night on Tuesday only one driver will be standing in victory lane.

We've put together a list of 10 drivers to keep an eye on as you watch the race live on FloRacing. If you're not already a FloRacing subscriber, click here to sign up today to watch the Slinger Nationals.

Alex Prunty

Despite not having won the Slinger Nationals, Alex Prunty is one of the regulars who has nearly 1400 laps under his belt in the historic race. Prunty, a two-time Slinger track champion, has four top 10 finishes, including a career-best runner-up finish in 2017. The 2020 pole sitter has led 68 laps in the race.

Andrew Morrissey

Morrissey was flagged the winner in 2024 before being disqualified in post-race technical inspection. Returning for his 12th Slinger Nationals attempt, he may now be more motivated than ever to reach victory lane again. He has finished fifth in the past and scored a total of four top-10 finishes.

Brad Mueller

One year ago, Brad Mueller’s dream became reality as he finally captured a Slinger Nationals victory after 22 starts in the event era. With that victory coming at the expense of a disqualification, Mueller would like to return and win one on the race track. The event has not been won in back-to-back seasons since Matt Kenseth in 2008 and 2009.

Bubba Pollard

Making his return to the Slinger Nationals for the first time since 2020, Bubba Pollard will look to take down a second win on the high banks. Pollard followed up his 2017 win with a ninth-place finish in 2018. Pollard will be one to watch as the only VanDoorn car in the field.

Dennis Prunty

If Prunty qualifies for the race this year, he will be making his 24th start in the Slinger Nationals, as he looks to expand on his 2015 win when he led 187 of the 199 laps.  Prunty has three runner-up finishes and a pair of third-place finishes among his 14 overall top 10 finishes.

Derek Thorn

We have seen this story before. When Derek Thorn gets it in his head that he wants to accomplish something, there is almost no stopping him. Thorn, now with three Slinger National starts on his resume, has three podium finishes. He led the race for the first time in 2024 before earning his career-best finish of second.

Luke Fenhaus

Fenhaus, the 2021 Slinger Nationals winner, could easily have two—or even more—Slinger titles to his name by now. Fenhaus has two runner-up finishes and a third to total four podiums in only six starts. He will be a driver to keep an eye on Tuesday night.

Rich Bickle

How can you not like a crafty veteran who has 12 overall wins at the Slinger Nationals? Age is just a number for Rich Bickle who has won the race four times overall in both the event and race era. Hopefully, he can snap the bad luck bug that has bit him during the last few seasons.

Steve Apel

In 16 career Slinger Nationals starts, Steve Apel has eight finishes in the top 10 and six in the top five. Apel scored career-best finishes of third in 2015 and 2017. The six-time track champion was flagged the winner in 2013 before being disqualified in post-race tech. In all, Apel has led 295 laps at the Slinger Nationals.

Ty Majeski

The Slinger Nationals has become a playground for Ty Majeski after only 11 career starts in the race. The Seymour, Wisconsin driver has three wins to his credit, as well as a second-place finish when he got moved out of the way on the final lap in 2019. Majeski has already led 611 laps during his career at the Slinger Nationals.
