2025 Virginia Triple Crown Schedule Of Events

The Virginia Triple Crown kicks off Saturday at South Boston Speedway with the running of the Thunder Road Harley-Davidson 200. 40 cars have already filed entries, making Saturday’s race the biggest 200-lap Late Model Stock Car race at South Boston Speedway in years.
Our FloRacing broadcast will begin at 4 p.m. ET with group qualifying for the Late Model Stock Cars set to follow at 4:15 p.m. ET. Racing will begin at 7 p.m. ET with the Budweiser Limited Sportsman, Southside Disposal Pure Stocks, and Dollar General Hornets all to run features before the Late Model Stocks take to the track for their 200-lap main event.
Saturday's race is Round 1 for the 2025 Virginia Triple Crown, which is now bigger than ever. This year's Triple Crown champion will receive a $20,000 payday, thanks to a collaborative effort between FloRacing and NASCAR. The entire top 10 in Virginia Triple Crown standings will see a purse increase totaling $50,000.
Round 2 of the Virginia Triple Crown will take place on Saturday, July 19 at Hampton, Virginia's Langley Speedway. Brenden "Butterbean" Queen is the defending winner of that race. Queen has won the Hampton Heat the last two years in a row and three times in total.
The third and final round of the Virginia Triple Crown will take place on Saturday, September 27 with the ValleyStar Credit Union 300 at Martinsville Speedway. The $50,000 purse for the Virginia Triple Crown standings will be paid out that night, as well as a beautiful Ridgeway Grandfather Clock to the champion of the 200-lap feature. NASCAR Xfinity Series driver Carson Kvapil is the reigning champion of the ValleyStar Credit Union 300.
