More wet weather at Lernerville Speedway has forced Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series and track officials to cancel Friday's double Firecracker 100 prelims as a rainstorm moved through the Sarver, Pa., facility around 10 minutes before 5 p.m. scheduled hot laps.

Saturday's 100-lap, $50,000-to-win finale will now function as a regular Lucas Oil program with hot laps, time trials, heat races, B-mains preceding the main event. A new pill draw will be conducted as well.

Friday's rainstorm that started around 4:50 p.m. stopped briefly around 5:10, but started again around 5:25 and went for another 20 minutes before letting up around 5:45.

Nineteenth annual Firecracker 100 weekend presented by Experience Butler County, Pa., was slated as a three-day event until Thursday's and Friday's rainouts. Visit lernerville.com and Lernerville Speedway's social media pages for information regarding refunds.
