Entry List For The CARS Tour Late Model Stock Cars At Dominion Raceway
Entry list for the CARS Tour "Mini's Mission 125" at Dominion Raceway on Saturday, June 14.

After one week off the CARS Tour is back in action on Saturday night for the third edition of the Mini’s Mission 125 at the lightning-fast Dominion Raceway in Spotsylvania, Virginia. Nearly 30 teams, including full-time CARS Tour competitors and Dominion regulars, have filed entries to race for a good cause in front of what is expected to be a capacity crowd.
We’ll start off with Landen Lewis, who leads the points heading into Saturday’s race by just two markers over Connor Hall. Lewis has two victories on the season, but a mechanical issue last time out at Langley Speedway left him with a premature exit and a 19th-place finish. Dominion was part of Lewis’ partial schedule last season. He finished eighth at the high-speed race track after getting caught up in an early incident.
The driver right on Lewis’ heels in points is the aforementioned Connor Hall, who did not have the finish he expected at his home track of Langley Speedway last race. He led 19 laps, but faded in the closing stages to finish seventh after winning that race the previous two years. He now heads to Dominion where he finished second one year ago and was the “Best of The Rest” behind Brenden Queen who led every lap last year. Dominion has been a strength of Hall’s since he arrived on the CARS Tour scene in 2022. He’s yet to finish outside of the top five there and scored the win there in his inaugural CARS Tour campaign in 2022.
Third in points, 15 markers back of Lewis is Kade Brown. The Fulford, Texas native is halfway through his second season, and is about to make his second start at Dominion. For Brown, just about any result will be better than last year’s result. Brown was caught up in a Lap One crash that destroyed his race car. He finished 29th and is credited with completing zero laps on the evening. But this season has been going much better for Brown, as he continues to search for his first CARS Tour win. Brown has two top-five finishes and six top 10 finishes in seven starts. His top fives matches how many he had all season last year, and his top 10 number has already surpassed his mark from last season.
Ten markers back of Brown sits Claremont, North Carolina’s Landon Huffman. The Carroll Speedshop driver has been coming on strong lately, finding ways to get good finishes and gain ground in the standings even though last race at Langley wasn’t the best. Huffman finished 13th after getting into some trouble with Justin Carroll (not his car owner), which resulted in a spin in the late stages. Coincidentally, Huffman has made just one CARS Tour start at Dominion, and his finishing position in that race back in 2023 was also 13th.
Rounding out the top five in the points standings is Lexington, North Carolina’s Ronnie Bassett Jr. Bassett currently sits 36 points behind Lewis, and 11 points behind Huffman for fourth after finishing sixth at Langley last race. But Dominion has been a struggle for Bassett in his two trips there with the CARS Tour. In 2023, Bassett dropped out of the race after just over 30 laps with an overheating issue. In 2024, Bassett was one of two drivers who failed to qualify for the race, so much like Brown, just about any result for Bassett this weekend will be better than last year’s.
That brings us to the driver sixth in points, who is the reason for this entire event in the first place, and that is Mini Tyrrell. The Manassas, Virginia driver is the namesake of this event, as it’s his foundation, “Mini’s Mission,” that the event is for. Tyrrell and his family are once again organizing a special weekend for a few special families who have been affected by pediatric cancer. This is the third year the event will be taking place, which includes a special dinner on Friday night at the race track for all of the teams and the families to come together and get to know each other. Then on race day, each family will be matched with a race team and will be their VIPs for the day. It is an event that every member of the CARS Tour community has come to look forward to each year. But on the track, Dominion has become a strong race track on the calendar for Tyrrell. Tyrrell finished fifth last year, and third in 2023. A Tyrrell win on Saturday would be something nobody would be upset to see.
