Hagerstown Weather Cancels App. Speedweek Event, Sagi Tribute PPD To July

Sunday's Selinsgrove Ford Appalachian Mountain Speedweek event and Frank Sagi Tribute at Hagerstown (Md.) Speedway has been postponed to July 12 because of inclement weather.

The Sagi Tribute will be unsanctioned and not count as an Appalachian Speedway event when it runs next month. Purse details are forthcoming.

Appalachian Speedweek, which was also rained out Friday at Clinton County Speedway, is now shortened to six races in a nine-day span between June 7-15, with Saturday's event at Port Royal (Pa.) Speedway serving as the opener and Tuesday's event at Path Valley Speedway Park in Spring Run, Pa., serving as the second event.
