Kubota High Limit Racing hosted the seventh annual Rayce Rudeen Foundation Race, an event honoring Kevin Rudeen's late son while bringing awareness to fighting addictions and paying $26,000-to-win Thursday at Wisconsin's 141 Speedway.
Wisconsin's own Travis Arenz stunned the High Limit field from the fifth-starting position for one of the biggest upsets in Spring Car racing recent history. Arenz led the final 21 of 35 laps and held off ninth-starting Tanner Thorson by 1.028 seconds.
The pole-starting Bill Balog led the opening 14 laps before finishing third. Brent Marks (started 11th) and Scotty Thiel (started 13th) rounded out the top-five after midpack starting spots. Brad Sweet finished 17th on a night he collided with Sye Lynch in the midpack on lap 14.
