The original six-figure payday in Dirt Late Model racing will be up for grabs this weekend when Dirt Late Model stars invade Rossburg, Ohio's Eldora Speedway for the 31st running of the Dirt Late Model Dream.

Dirt Late Model Dream Notes

  • Eldora Speedway hosts Dream XXXI, featuring three nights of action for DIRTcar Late Models culminating with Saturday’s 100-lap, $100,000-to-win main event. 
  • Dream Week begins with Wednesday’s 50-lap, $20,000-to-win FloRacing Night in America presented by Kubota opener, unrelated to Dream competition. 
  • DIRTcar-sanctioned action officially begins with split-field qualifying nights Thursday and Friday, featuring 50-lap, $30,000-to-win (up from $25,000-to-win last year) preliminary features. Each prelim night award points which set the starting lineups for Saturday’s heats, preceding consolations and the Dream feature. 
  • More than $700,000 in prize money, an event record, will be awarded. 
  • Jonathan Davenport led 100 laps from the pole to capture his third career Dream triumph and second in a row. Davenport is also a five-time World 100 winner (2015, ’17, ’19, ’21, ’22) at Eldora along with 2022’s Eldora Million and 2020’s $50,000 Intercontinental Classic. 
  • Bobby Pierce won last fall’s $100,000 Dirt Track World Championship at Eldora, as Ricky Thornton Jr. clinched the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series title. 
  • Pierce, of Oakwood, Ill., also topped last September’s $57,000 World 100, his second career Globe trophy (2016). 
  • Live music featuring Clayton Anderson (fan zone) will immediately follow Thursday-Friday checkered flags.
