Dale Earnhardt Jr., Kevin Harvick To Announce CARS Tour At North Wilkesboro
NASCAR champions Kevin Harvick and Dale Earnhardt Jr. will join the FloRacing announce team for the CARS Tour at North Wilkesboro Speedway.

Stars and cars of the CARS Tour return to historic North Wilkesboro Speedway for a two-night doubleheader on Thursday, May 15 and Friday, May 16. Entry lists for both CARS Tour divisions are bursting at the seams with talent and big names, but the race track isn’t the only place where big names with massive talent can be found. The broadcast booth on FloRacing and FS1 will have two of the biggest names in NASCAR from the 21st century.
NASCAR Hall of Famer Dale Earnhardt Jr., and NASCAR Cup Series champion Kevin Harvick, both of whom are co-owners of the zMAX CARS Tour, will be in the announcers booth for Thursday’s 75-lap Pro Late Model feature exclusively on FloRacing, as well as for Friday’s 100-lap Late Model Stock Car event on FloRacing and FS1.

Earnhardt Jr. and Harvick will be joined by CARS Tour announcer Eric Brennan, who will be handling the play-by-play duties for both races. Between the three of them, the broadcast booth has claimed three Daytona 500’s, a NASCAR Cup Series title, and four NASCAR Xfinity Series championships, all of which belong to Harvick and Earnhardt Jr. of course.
Brennan’s normal CARS Tour boothmate, Blake McCandless, will be patrolling pit road as a pit reporter on Thursday for the Pro Late Model race along with regular CARS Tour pit reporter, James Pike. McCandless will also be on pit road on Friday night on FOX Sports 1 and will be joined by FOX Sports’ Kaitlin Vincie.

For Earnhardt Jr., Thursday and Friday’s races will serve as a bit of a warmup for him as he gets ready to step back into the broadcasting booth for NASCAR Cup Series races on Prime Video beginning with the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway the following week, which will kick off of a 10-week stretch of races between Prime Video and TNT.
“I can’t wait for this,” said Earnhardt Jr. on his “Dale Jr. Download” podcast. “Being in the booth with Kevin, talking about our series, I can’t wait. If you’re wanting to support short track racing and the CARS Tour, tuning in is the best way you can do that.”
Being in the booth on Thursday night specifically for Harvick gives him the first chance to call a race in which his son, Keelan, will be a competitor in a stock car. Harvick, who will be finishing his stint with FOX Sports in the NASCAR booth this weekend at North Wilkesboro, will also be in the FloRacing announcers booth for the very first time on Thursday night.
