Results from Friday's Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series first-ever event at Circle City Raceway.
The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series launched a busy month of May on Friday at Circle City Raceway in The Racing Capital of the World in Indianapolis, Ind., the quarter-mile oval that hosted its first-ever nationally touring Dirt Late Model event.
Brandon Overton led all 50 laps from the pole for his first series victory of the season with the Longhorn Factory Team. The Evans, Ga., driver pocketed $15,000 over Devin Moran.
Hudson O'Neal, Jonathan Davenport and Ricky Thornton Jr. rounded out the top-five. Spencer Hughes was the biggest mover of the race, finishing ninth from the 21st-starting spot.
