After a month-long break, Kubota High Limit Racing returned to action Thursday for the opener of the two-race Stockyard Stampede at Texas Motor Speedway.

Central Pennsylvania's own Brent Marks wired the field for the flag-to-flag victory in the 25-lap feature. It's Marks's first High Limit win of 2025, which came 1.420 seconds over reigning series champion Brad Sweet.

Tanner Thorson earned hard-charger honors, finishing 10th from the 22nd-starting spot. Landon Crawley was right behind the hard-charging Thorson in positions gained as Crawley started 18th and finished seventh.

Three cautions slowed the 14-minute feature: Lap two for Justin Peck, who slowed out of 11th and never returned; lap six for Danny Sams III, who went up in smoke; and lap eight for Austin McCarl.

Fifth-starting Christopher Bell retired during the lap-eight stoppage while running eighth. The Stockyard Stampede rounds out Saturday at the Texas Motor Speedway dirt track.
