The ARCA Menards Series East is set for its second race of the 2025 season on Saturday, which sees the division return to the historic Rockingham Speedway for the first time in more than a decade. And with that return comes a large field pushing 30 cars for Saturday’s 125-lap race.

Headlining the entry list is the reigning ARCA Menards Series East champion and current NASCAR Xfinity Series driver, Wisconsin’s William Sawalich. Sawalich won three ARCA East races en route to the championship one year ago, but he crashed at the one-mile Dover Motor Speedway, the track that is most comparable to Rockingham on the schedule.

Sawalich’s teammate for this race is the most recent ARCA Menards Series winner last month at Phoenix Raceway, and that is the young Brent Crews, the 2024 CARS Tour Late Model Stock Car Rookie of the Year. The “Crews Missile” as he is known out-dueled Brenden “Butterbean” Queen to take the checkered flag at Phoenix in the national division race, and should be tough to beat once again on Saturday.

The team that Sawalich had to battle for the East championship last season was Pinnacle Racing Group with Connor Zilisch behind the wheel. This weekend the PRG No. 28 will be piloted by Austin Green, the son of David Green, the 1994 NASCAR Xfinity Series champion. Saturday’s race will be Green’s debut in the ARCA Menards Series East. He made one ARCA Menards Series start in 2020 at Toledo Speedway. He finished seventh after starting 11th.

New Jersey’s Lavar Scott is still searching for his first ARCA Menards Series East trip to victory lane, though he has come so close on a number of occasions already. Scott has nine top five finishes in 13 East starts, including a runner-up at Flat Rock Speedway in Michigan in 2023. He finished third in his last two East starts at the Milwaukee Mile and Bristol Motor Speedway last year.

Scott will have two teammates out of the Rev Racing stable on Saturday. Eloy Falcon Lopez will pilot the No. 10 for Rev Racing in a partnership with Fast Track Racing. Scott’s other teammate will be Jackson, Georgia’s Lanie Buice. Buice is racing full-time with Lee Pulliam Performance on the CARS Tour this season.

Venturini Motorsports will have two cars in the field this weekend for Patrick Staropoli and Jake Finch. Finch has one East victory in 12 starts, and it came on the high-banked one-mile of Dover Motor Speedway in 2023. With the high speeds and high banks of Dover and Rockingham being similar, Finch’s experience and strength at Dover should make him a contender for the victory on Saturday.

The entire entry list for Saturday’s race can be found below.

Saturday’s 125-lap race at Rockingham goes green at 1 p.m. ET live on FloRacing with Eric Brennan and Charles Krall on the call of the event. Fans can watch live by clicking here.
