Kubota High Limit Racing: Who Has Won The Most Events?

The Kubota High Limit Racing Series was introduced in 2022. There have been 18 winners so far, but who has won the most events?

Since its introduction in 2022, the Kubota High Limit Racing Series has run more than 70 events, visiting three dozen tracks across more than 20 states.

In all, 18 winners have celebrated at the finish line, with five drivers netting five or more victories.

Who are those standout performers? Who has the most wins in the short history of High Limit Racing?

If your guess was Kyle Larson, because he seems to win everything, that would be logical, but it also would be incorrect.

The co-creator and co-owner of High Limit racing has had a decent couple of years, but he only has seven series wins.

The other driving force behind HLR, World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series veteran Brad Sweet, also has been doing more than just steering the organization through a successful launch and first couple of seasons, but even his unprecedented run of 10 wins in 2024 doesn’t get him to the top of the list.

So, Who Is The Winningest Driver In High Limit Racing History?

Rico Abreu, a 33-year-old from California, has been the most consistent performer in the Kubota High Limit Racing Series.

Abreu has been driving sprint cars since 2011 and enjoyed previous success in the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series, but he also exceled in the USAC National Midget Series (he was the overall champion in 2014) and premier events, including the Chili Bowl, which he won in 2015 and 2016, and Pepsi Nationals, which he won in 2015.

Because he’s only 4-foot-4, his cars require special modifications, but none of the alterations have impeded his success or meteoric rise in the sport.

In two seasons of High Limit Racing, Abreu has collected 12 wins – four in 2023 and eight in 2024.

He finished second on the points list in 2023 and third in 2024. The winners were Larson and Sweet, respectively.
