Silver Cup Kicks Off Silver Dollar Speedway Season This Weekend
The 2025 Silver Dollar Speedway season kicks off with two nights of 360 Sprint Car racing during the Silver Cup.

A new racing season will begin in Chico, California this weekend with the season-opening Silver Cup Race of Champions at Silver Dollar Speedway. The annual event will feature two nights of 360 Sprint Car racing on February 28 and March 1.
The two-night event will showcase the best of the best 360 Sprint Car drivers on the West Coast with a $4,000 top prize awaiting the winner on Saturday night.
This year’s Silver Cup will mark the first time the race has been held since 2022 after weather forced event officials to cancel the event in 2023 and 2024.
Recent winners of the main event include Mitchell Faccinto (2022) and Justin Sanders (2021). Justyn Cox won the first night of the event in 2020 before weather canceled the second night of racing.
Front gates will open at 5 p.m. PT on Friday night and 4 p.m. PT on Saturday night. Qualifying is slated to begin at 7 p.m. PT on Friday and 6 p.m. PT on Saturday. Heat races will begin after qualifying is completed.
Adult general admission is $20 on Friday and $25 on Saturday. Seniors (65 and up) and Juniors (13-17) are $15 on Friday and $20 on Saturday. Children 12 and under are free during both nights of racing.
