10 Storylines For The 2025 World Series Of Pro Mod At Bradenton
The Drag Illustrated Winter Series will wrap up with the World Series of Pro Mod at Bradenton Motorsports Park February 27 - March 1, 2025 live on FloRacing

The Drag Illustrated Winter Series will wrap up with the World Series of Pro Mod at Bradenton Motorsports Park February 27 - March 1, 2025. It's been an exciting winter of Pro Modified Drag Racing in Bradenton with the running of the Snowbird Outlaw Nationals and the US Street Nationals, but the stakes are as high as they've ever been leading into the last race of the series.
Here are 10 Storylines leading into the World Series of Pro Mod, which will be streamed live on FloRacing.
Money and Points Are Increased
Pro Modified will be racing for $150K in a 'winner take all format'. This marks the largest payout in Pro Mod history, yet again. The Winter Series is a points series but the final race of the series will be for 'points and a half' making qualifying and every round win worth even more giving and giving more drivers a chance for the Championship Title. The Champion of the series gets an additional $25K once clinched.
Ken Quartuccio Has The Bullseye On His Back
Ken Quartuccio has said before that Bradenton Motorsports Park is HIS track due to all of his success there, and The Winter Series has been no different. With a runner-up finish at the Snowbird Outlaw Nationals and a win at the US Street nationals, Ken has a significant points lead going into the final event of the series. With 80 Cars there, it still will be tough to qualify and keep those behind him off of his back, but he's got a good head start.
Street Outlaw Effect
You would have to be blind or live under a rock to not know that the Street Outlaws invaded the Drag Illustrated Winter Series. With Kye Kelley's Snowbird Outlaw Nationals win, even more attention was drawn to those invited. In the second race of the series, we saw even more with Robin Roberts and Murder Nova attempting to make the field. We can only guess that we will see more of this integration and the fans line in the sand when it comes to Outlaw Pro Mod vs Street Outlaws!
Chasing Ken Q
Quartuccio may have a significant lead, but he is not out of reach. Here are those chasing Ken. P2: Kye Kelley | P3: Mark Micke | P4: Kurt Steading | T5: Melanie Salemi | T5: Mike Decker III | P7: Travis Harvey | P8: Lyle Barnett | T9: Erica Enders | T9: Ty Tutterow
Scott Palmer Is On The Move
Palmer has not qualified with his '63 Corvette at either of the Winter Series races, but it's no secret that they are close to getting that thing figured out. If Palmer and crew can get into the show for the WSOPM it would be a huge win and another positive note on his comeback.
Who Carries The Nitrous Torch?
Matt Deitsch has been a cinderella story in the making during this Winter Series. Not only has he been winning rounds as a driver on hole-shots, but he seems to be the front runner when it comes to Nitrous cars so far this series. The World Series of Pro Mod loves an underdog... can he get it done to catapult his career like '23 Winner Spencer Hyde? Rumor has it Tommy Franklin will be back in his nitrous powered Jungle Rat to fight for the nitrous torch as well.
King Tutt Sits On A Different Throne
Todd Tutterow announced he will be driving the 3rd car for the Decker's at the WSOPM. Todd's son Ty has been having some major success in the driver's seat of their car, and now it's time for King Tutt to throw his hat, or should we say crown, into the mix at the WSOPM.
Jr. Dragster Shootout Added
Thursday night during the Strange Engineering Racer and Crew Welcome Party, there will be a 16-car shootout featuring the young competitors from all around the sport. The Jr's will also be following a chip draw format and be front and center stage as all eyes are on them!
Mountain Motor Pro Stock Sets New Goals
Now that the three-second barrier has been broken, the class has new breath of life coming into the World Series of Pro Mod. Last year's winner Matt Giagrande will be back to fight for his title against 20 competitors for this 16-car field.
Spencer Hyde's Last Pro Mod Hoorah?
2023 WSOPM Champion, Spencer Hyde will make his final Pro Mod start this season before going full-time NHRA Funny Car Racing with Jim Head Racing. He's been a player at the Drag Illustrated Winter Series Events since his Cinderella style win in '23, but can he become the first two-time winner before heading into the NHRA? A big win here could catapult him to another level.
There is no shortage of intensity leading into the 2025 World Series of Pro Mod and you can watch it all unfold only on FloRacing.com
