The ASA STARS National Tour and Southern Super Series have officially released the highly anticipated pre-entry list for the upcoming Clyde Hart Memorial, set to take place at New Smyrna Speedway on Tuesday, February 11th.

Featuring a stacked field of elite Super Late Model competitors, the event promises to deliver thrilling short-track racing action as drivers battle for the coveted cowboy hat trophy. The event is set to take place on night #5 of the 9 night World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing.

34 Drivers from 15 states and Canada are ready to go for the 200-lap, $15,000 to win season opener. Among those entered include the nation’s best drivers like Bubba Pollard, Ty Majeski, Derek Thorn, Stephen Nasse, and Cole Butcher.

A plethora of young guns are also ready to do battle such as William Sawalich, Kyle Steckly, Ty Fredrickson, Chase Pinsonneault, Jake Finch, Carson Brown, Conner Jones, George Phillips, Gavan Boschele and Dawson Sutton.

Other notable drivers include Johnny Sauter, Austin Nason, Matthew Craig, Derek Griffith, Derek Kraus, Paul Shafer Jr, Gabe Sommers, Billy VanMeter, Michael Hinde, Spencer Davis, Brad May, Kasey Kleyn, Mike Hopkins, Colby Howard, Bobby Good, Cory Hall, Dustin Smith, and George Gorham, Jr.. Several others are expected to join the list as long as their World Series starts without any major issues.

“This is one of the strongest fields we’ve seen for the Clyde Hart Memorial, and it’s shaping up to be a can’t-miss event,” said Bob Sargent, Track Enterprises CEO. “New Smyrna Speedway always produces great racing, and with the talent we have entered, we’re expecting an incredible show for the fans.”

Tuesday’s event will serve as the first of twelve races for the ASA STARS National Tour. The series will then have a month off to prepare for event #2 of the season at Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola, FL on Sunday, March 23.

New stops on the 2025 schedule include Dominion Raceway in Virginia (April 5), Newport Speedway in Tennessee (May 24), and Slinger Super Speedway in Wisconsin (June 15). Other tracks back on this year’s schedule include Hickory Motor Speedway (May 22), Madison International Speedway (June 13), Anderson Speedway (July 26), Owosso Speedway (August 20), Toledo Speedway (September 13), Winchester Speedway (October 12), and Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway (November 9)

The newly formed ASA STARS Platinum Program, presented by Rackley Roofing, features teams and drivers that have signed up for the full 2025 season which will receive extra showup money at each event, guaranteed starting spots, and many other perks. The program has at least 15 full-timers currently locked in with others possible before the season starts next week.
