FloRacing Night in America presented by Kubota will visit Volunteer Speedway in Bulls Gap., Tenn., on Sept. 11 instead of Tennessee’s I-75 Raceway, the series announced Monday.

The $20,000-to-win event will be the second annual Scott Bloomquist Memorial Scorcher at the 4/10-mile oval.

“We didn’t realize when we put our schedule out this year that Volunteer Speedway already had the Scott Bloomquist Memorial Scorcher planned for Thursday, Sept. 11 at Volunteer (Speedway),” miniseries general manager Ben Shelton said. “Ray Cook, who promotes the I-75 Raceway event, reached out to Vic Hill (the promoter) at Volunteer Speedway, and they collectively made the decision to move our series race to Volunteer.

“I think this will be a win-win for fans and drivers, and we look forward to bringing the miniseries back to Volunteer Speedway for the first time since our inaugural season in 2021.”

The originally scheduled Tarheel 53 at I-75 Raceway on Sept. 11 has been rescheduled for Saturday, Oct. 25, and will pay $10,053-to-win under the Coltman Farms Racing Southern All Star Series banner.

The 2025 FloRacing Night in America presented by Kubota season opens May 6 at La Salle (Ill.) Speedway with the quarter-mile oval hosting races for the first time since 2021.
