The 43rd edition of the popular Ohio Sprint Car Speedweek returns on the NAPA Auto Parts All Star Circuit of Champions presented by Valvoline this week, visiting nine racetracks in as many days from June 13-21 under new series director Rich Farmer.

Overwatch Precision is the title sponsor while Gill Construction is the presenting sponsor of the miniseries that's had some prestigious champions over the years, like Steve Kinser, Jack Hewitt, Sammy Swindell, David Gravel, Dave Blaney and Shane Stewart, among others.

PA Posse's Danny Dietrich along with All Star points leaders Zane DeVault, Kalib Henry and Devon Borden are among drivers committed to Speedweek.

Ohio Sprint Speedweek, which will be streamed live on FloRacing, begins Friday at Attica Raceway Park, the third-mile oval at Attica Fairgrounds. On Saturday, the miniseries heads to Sharon Speedway, the 3/8-mile oval outside Hartford, Ohio, before returning to Millstream Speedway, the 4/10 mile oval in Findlay, Ohio.

Longtime miniseries stop, 3/8-mile oval Wayne County Speedway in Orrville, hosts Ohio Speedweek on Monday. Famed half-mile Eldora Speedweek in Rossburg hosts fifth-round action on Tuesday before the home of the All Star tour, third-mile oval Fremont Speedway, hosts Ohio Speedweek next Wednesday.

Third-mile oval Waynesfield Motorsports Park hosts Ohio Speedweek Thursday, June 19 ahead of the penultimate miniseries round Friday, June 20. Ohio Speedweek rounds out Saturday, June 21 at high-banked 3/8-mile Atomic Speedway outside Chillicothe.

Every Ohio Speedweek race will pay $7,500-to-win, $1,000 for 10th and $500-to-start with the exception of Atomic, the finale that’ll have a whopping $26,554 winner’s share.

“This will be one of the highest paying Ohio Sprint Speedweek in history,” Farmer said in December. “We are proud to carry on the tradition that began in 1983 thanks to FloRacing, the support of the all the tracks and of course the fans and race teams.

“When you look at the history of Ohio Sprint Speedweek, many young drivers established a reputation that carried them to outstanding careers like (NASCAR drivers) Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Kyle Larson, (Dale and Dave) Blaney, the Hewitts, (Jac and Sheldon) Haudenschild, (Steve) Kinser, (Doug) Wolfgang, (Sammy) Swindell, (Bobby) Allen (and Chad) Kemenah.

“The speedweek winners list is filled with Hall of Fame drivers. Last year, Danny Sams III turned a lot of heads with his breakout wins. It’s an exciting event, a tradition like no other.”
