The sixth running of the Driven2SaveLives BC39 kicked off Thursday night at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway with USAC Midgets and USAC Sprint Cars in action. Chase McDermand claimed his first-ever USAC National Midget victory in the 30-lap preliminary feature, while C.J. Leary made history as the first driver to win a USAC National Sprint Car feature at the historic race track.
In addition to McDermand, Cannon McIntosh and Daison Pursley both locked into Saturday's $20,039-to-win main event with their podium finishes.
