The third round of the 2024 Castrol FloRacing Night in America tour presented by Kubota opened Prairie Dirt Classic week with Wednesday's fifth annual One for the Road presented by I-Beam Sliding Doors paying $20,000-to-win.
Leading only but two laps, Ricky Thornton Jr. edged out Shannon Babb by 0.111 of a second to the checkers aboard Kevin Rumley's Late Model as the Chandler, Ariz., driver rallied from the 15th-starting spot for the victory.
Babb led 44 of 50 laps and finished ahead of 10th-starting Ryan Gustin, Bobby Pierce, and Brian Shirley, who rounded out the top-five. Fifteen drivers finished on the lead lap.
