CARS Tour officials announced Wednesday morning that the rained-out doubleheader at North Wilkesboro Speedway will now be run on Saturday, August 3 as a one-day show at the legendary North Carolina short track.

It was announced on social media that the Reverend 100 for the Pro Late Model division and the Window World 125 for the Late Model Stock Cars will both take place on the same day on Saturday, August 3.

Series officials released the schedule for the day as well, with each division getting one practice session that morning. The Pro Late Models will hit the track first at 10:45 a.m. and the Late Model Stock Cars taking to the track for their lone practice session at 11:30 a.m. Qualifying will take place at 5 p.m. ET for the Pro Late Models and at 6 p.m. for the Late Model Stock Cars. The Reverend 100 will be the first race of the evening at 8:30 p.m. followed by the Window World 125.

It was also announced that there will be an autograph session for both divisions from 6:45 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Originally the Reverend 100 and Window World 125 were scheduled to take place on separate days as part of NASCAR’s All-Star Race week, but rain wreaked havoc on both nights initially forcing the Reverend 100 to be rescheduled on the same night as the Window World 125. However, Mother Nature had other ideas that night as well. After a handful of Pro Late Models ran laps in qualifying, a heavy shower washed away the rest of the evening’s festivities. At the time, CARS Tour officials announced that the races would be postponed to a later date, though no date was given.

Both races on Saturday, August 3 will be broadcast live on FloRacing, as will every zMAX CARS Tour event.

The CARS Tour is back in action with just the Late Model Stock Cars this Saturday, June 1, at Hampton, Virginia’s Langley Speedway for a 125-lap showdown that of course will be broadcast live on FloRacing.
