
The 2024 Dirt Modified season in the Northeast kicked off on Sunday afternoon with the Short Track Super Series Jake Marine Memorial at Georgetown Speedway. A field of 39 Modifieds showed up to the Delaware dirt track for the Short Track Super Series South Region season-opening event.
Stewart Friesen took over the lead from early race leader Brandon Grosso with eight laps to go and never looked back on his way to claiming the $8,500 victory.
