High Limit Racing embarked on its anticipated 59-race national campaign on Tuesday evening at East Bay Raceway Park by completing Monday's postponed Battle at the Bay program.

Reigning High Limit midweek series champion Kyle Larson picked up where he left off, leading all 25 laps from the pole to capture the tour's first feature victory of the season. Larson collected $10,000 for his efforts.

Cole Macedo, who finished 2.827 seconds behind, got around Tanner Thorson on the final lap for the runner-up position.

Thorson, meanwhile, finished third, and challenged Larson in the closing laps numerous times, pulling alongside the eventual winner twice with six laps remaining and once through turns one and two with five laps left.

Brent Marks, who rallied through the B-main, started 22nd and finished eighth. The season-opening feature was supposed to be contested on Monday, but rain showers forced the remainder of the event — the consolation races and the 25-lap feature — to be ran prior to Tuesday's regular scheduled program.
