Chase Elliott Headlines Stacked ASA Entry List For New Smyrna Speedway

2020 NASCAR Cup Series champion Chase Elliott headlines a stacked entry list for the ASA STARS National Tour Clyde Hart Memorial at New Smyrna Speedway.

New Smyrna, FL - The ASA STARS National Tour will make its debut at the prestigious New Smyrna Speedway on Tuesday February 13 for the 25th running of the Clyde Hart Memorial. The tri-sanctioned event with the ASA STARS National Tour, ASA Southern Super Series, and the David Rogers Super Late Models features an impressive field of over 40 cars with drivers from 17 states and Canada that are ready to do battle on the action packed half-mile. The event features a 200-lap feature paying $15,000 to the winner and $1,500 to start the main event. 

The ASA STARS National Tour Clyde Hart Memorial will be a part of the 56th Annual World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing. Night 1 of the World Series of Asphalt takes place on Friday, February 9 and runs nine consecutive nights, closing out on Saturday, February 17 with the David Rogers Super Late Models Orange Blossom 100. 

The 2024 Clyde Hart Memorial is shaping up to be one for the record books with an event high total payout as well as the most entries in the event's history. A blend of drivers with ties to NASCAR, career short track aces, and rising stars looking to make a name for themselves will all be in action at New Smyrna Speedway. 

Headlining the Clyde Hart entry list is 2020 NASCAR Cup Champion Chase Elliott. Elliott is no stranger to victory lane in Southern Super Series competition, finding victory lane three times in a limited number of starts. Elliott's most recent Super Late Model start came last August when he finished second in the Battle at Berlin at Berlin Raceway. 

Other stars entered for the ASA STARS National Tour opener include defending series champion Ty Majeski, recent SpeedFest winner Bubba Pollard, two-time Oxford 250 winner Cole Butcher, CARS Tour Pro Late Model champion Caden Kvapil, NASCAR Canada champion Treyton Lapcevich, 2023 Florida Governor's Cup winner Stephen Nasse and a host of of others.
