The 18th running of the Rio Grande Waste Systems Wild West Shootout presented by O’Reilly Auto Parts at New Mexico's Vado Speedway Park completed the sixth and final round of the six-race miniseries on Sunday.

Kyle Larson of Elk Grove, Calif., stole the event's $26,000 finale after Bobby Pierce stunningly fell from the lead with six laps to go because of a flat right-rear tire. Pierce led laps 14 through 43 before his tailspin, but he did rally through the field to finish seventh, claiming the miniseries title.

Pierce would've claimed the $100,000 Penske Paydirt Jackpot bonus if not for the demise.

Mike Marlar led the opening 13 laps and finished second to Larson, who scored his first Wild West Shootout victory. Chase Junghans started 19th and finished 12th.
