Corey Day Goes Full-Time, Ready To Chase High Limit Championship In 2024

Corey Day has announced he and Jason Meyers Racing are signing up to compete for all 60 races and chasing a High Limit Racing championship in 2024.

Corey Day, the 18-year-old California phenom will be competing on a national level in 2024 behind the wheel of the Jason Meyers Racing, Sander Engineering, Four C’s Construction, Meyers Constructors, #14.  After announcing a new partnership between Jason Meyers Racing, Clauson Marshall Racing, and Driven to Save Lives on Thursday morning, a busy afternoon and evening turned into Corey and the JMR team going ALL IN, announcing their commitment to racing for the High Limit Championship today at the show.

Corey and the JMR team had an outstanding 2023 season, capturing 11 wins, including 9 NARC main event wins, the Gold Cup Race of Champions against the World of Outlaws, and the 29th annual Trophy Cup at the Tulare Thunderbowl.  Coreys 9 main event wins and consistency throughout the season propelled the team to their 1st NARC championship.

“Corey is developing into one the finest race car drivers in the world right in front of our eyes, and I could not be more proud of him,” said Jason Meyers.  “The effort that Corey has put into growing mentally and physically in 2023 in combination with the teamwork demonstrated between Corey, Shane Bowers, and the rest of the team has delivered remarkable results.  I am excited to elevate our team in 2024 to the national level.”

Sander Engineering and Four C’s Construction will return as the primary sponsors on the #14.  In addition, Driven2SaveLives and Clauson Marshall Racing will join the JMR team in a primary role for 25 races during their 2024 campaign, with a special paint scheme and carrying the BC logo.

Jason Meyers Racing is owned by two-time World of Outlaws champion Jason Meyers, who is joined by longtime friend and business partner Preston Cross in fielding the #14 car.  Jason and Preston have worked together for over two decades in racing. Corey’s High Limit Racing campaign officially begins on Monday & Tuesday, February 12-13 at East Bay Raceway Park in Tampa, FL, and concludes on Friday & Saturday, October 11-12 at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth, TX. Along with a trio of six-figure paydays and 25+ races paying $20,000 or more to win, teams will also compete for a $1 million championship fund and an additional $100,000 points fund for the Midweek Money Series.
