Kyle Larson Adds Another Midget Race To His Dirt Racing Schedule
NASCAR Cup Series star Kyle Larson will make another USAC Midget start on November 24-25 during the Turkey Night Grand Prix at Ventura Raceway.
Kyle Larson had so much fun in his return to Midget racing that he has added another USAC NOS Energy Drink Midget National Championship event to his schedule. Larson intends to compete in this weekend's USAC Turkey Night Grand Prix event at Ventura Raceway.
Larson is fresh off a win this past weekend in the Hangtown 100 at Placerville Speedway. The 2021 NASCAR Cup Series champion earned a preliminary night win on Friday night before charging from the 16th starting position to win Sunday's main event.
Larson's win on Friday night was his first Midget win on dirt since November 19, 2021 when he won a Hangtown 100 preliminary night feature at Placerville. It was also his first Midget start in nearly a year, dating back to last year's Turkey Night Grand Prix.

With a trio of Turkey Night Grand Prix wins already on his resume, Larson returns to Ventura Speedway seeking his fourth career win in the traditional Thanksgiving weekend event. In 10 career starts in the event, Larson has finished no worse than fourth. In addition to his three wins, he's finished second on four occasions in 2015-17-18-22.
Turkey Night Grand Prix is the final event of the USAC NOS Energy Drink Midget National Championship season. Larson joins an impressive entry list that already includes 53 drivers who plan to compete in the event.
The event kicks off on Friday, November 24 with practice for the USAC Midgets, as well as hot laps, qualifying, heat races and a main event for the USAC West Coast Sprint Cars.
Action heats up on Saturday, November 25 with a full program of hot laps, qualifying, last chance qualifiers, semis and a 98-lap main event for USAC National Midgets. USAC West Coast Sprint Cars will again be in action for semis and main events.
