RMS Racing released a statement Monday indicating that the team has parted ways with popular veteran open wheel racer Thomas Meseraull after five years with the Cedar Lake, Indiana organization.

Over the past five seasons together, Meseraull and RMS combined to win 10 USAC National Midget Series races. Most recently, T-Mez was victorious during a preliminary event for the BC39 at The Dirt Track at Indianapolis Motor Speedway in September.

"We would like to thank T-Mez for the five years he drove for us, his role in helping to elevate RMS to a national contender and the enthusiasm he has brought to the team," RMS Racing said in a team press release. "We wish him the best or luck in future endeavors and will continue to cheer for him while being grateful for his role in our own success."

RMS Racing is owned and operated by Dave and Matt Estep. The team will continue its operation with Justin Grant behind the wheel of the team's No. 2J. Grant, a now back-to-back USAC National Sprint Car Series champion, will run full-time in 2024 while chasing his first career USAC National Midget title.

Meseraull currently sits 10th in the USAC National Midget point standings entering the California swing that includes races at Bakersfield Speedway (November 14), Placerville Speedway (November 17-18), Merced Speedway (November 21-22) and Ventura Raceway (November 24-25).

Attempt to reach Meseraull were unsuccessful at the time this story was published.
