The battle to become the inaugural High Limit Sprint Car Series champion will be decided Tuesday night during the season finale at Lincoln Park Speedway. NASCAR Cup Series star Kyle Larson enters the final race of the season with a 15-point lead over Rico Abreu in the championship standings.

Let's take a look at the "Tale of the Tape" to see how we've reached this point after 10 races.

Kyle Larson

Larson used a stretch of three straight wins during the first half of the season to build up a big lead in the High Limit Sprint Car Series championship standings. His consecutive wins at Wayne County Speedway, Tri-City Speedway and Eagle Raceway built up a cushion that Abreu has been chipping away at during the second half of the season.

Despite not winning a race in the second half of the season, Larson has three runner-up finishes and five top-10 finishes over the last five events.

Average Starting Position: 6.5

Average Finishing Position: 3.1

Rico Abreu

It was only a matter of time until "Lady Luck" was on Rico's side this season. A string of bad luck bit him early on in the season, but he's turned his luck around during the second half of the season with three High Limit wins over the last five races.

In addition to his three victories, Abreu has three runner-up finishes and has not finished off the podium since the third race of the season.

If not for a flat tire while leading the season opener at Lakeside Speedway in April, Rico would likely be in the catbird seat entering the finale.

Average Starting Position: 5.5

Average Finishing Position: 4.5
