The High Limit Sprint Car Series hosts the richest Sprint Car race in Lernerville Speedway history on Tuesday night with the $50,000-to-win Commonwealth Clash at the 4/10-mile oval on the outskirts of Pittsburgh.

Tuesday’s entry list is expected to surpass 50 drivers, which again’s anchored by some of the biggest and most talented names in dirt racing, specifically High Limit Series points leader Kyle Larson, series promoter Brad Sweet, and World of Outlaws traveler David Gravel.

Two-time High Limit Series winner this year, Rico Abreu, enters Lernerville a reachable 33 points behind Larson in the title race with three series races to go. Cory Eliason (-129 points), Justin Peck (-165), and Chase Randall (-171) take after Abreu in the standings and, by no surprise, are among the many on Tuesday’s entry list.

Newly minted All Star Circuit of Champions title winner, Zeb Wise, is another notable name on the entry list that also includes former NASCAR Cup star Kasey Kahne, six-time ASCoC champion Dale Blaney, two-time ASCoC champion Tyler Courtney, two-time ASCoC champion Aaron Reutzel, Parker Price-Miller, Brian Brown, Kerry Madsen, and James McFadden.

Tuesday’s entry list also has a strong representation of Central Pennsylvania-based drivers and teams: Hunter Schuerenberg aboard Zemco Racing’s No. 1, Ryan Smith in the BJD Motorsports No. 6, Peck in the Buch Motorsports No. 13, Brent Marks in the Murray Marks Racing No. 19, Mark Smith in the Rutherford Motorsports No. 19R, Tim Buckwalter in the Hummer-Lotier No. 20, Justin Sanders in the Macri Motorsports No. 39M, Tanner Thorson in the Aaron Long-owned No. 58, and Dillsburg, Pa.’s Anthony Macri in Bernie Stuebgen’s No. 71.

Lernerville Speedway has a formidable contingent of their own, led by track champion and 15-time winner this year, A.J. Flick, as well as Darin Gallagher, Brandon Matus, Carl Bowser, and Dan Shetler. Western Pennsylvania’s own Tim Shaffer, affectionately known as The Steel City Outlaw, is also on the entry list.

In addition to the $50,000 prize that awaits the winner, big money will be on the line for the night's hard charger.

The Tezos Hard Charger will receive $2,500 plus $100 for each car that they pass at Lernerville Speedway.

Tuesday’s FloRacing broadcast begins at 5:55 p.m. ET with on-track action set to follow.
