One of the biggest Sprint Car races of the season is now set to take place Sunday with the 56th running of the Tuscarora 50 at Port Royal Speedway. Fans at the track and watching live on FloRacing can follow along here for lineups, results and updates throughout the evening. 

Notes

• A rain shower hit the race track right after qualifying around 5:30 p.m. ET.
• Saturday's race has been postponed to the scheduled Sunday rain date. Track officials are expected to make an official decision at 8 a.m.

Tuscarora 50 Qualifying Format

• Based on a pill draw, drivers will be spilt into two groups for time trials. 
• The top 12 drivers in each group will be inverted into heat race lineups. 
• Each group will run three, eight-lap heat races. 
• The top-three finishers in each heat race will transfer to the Tuscarora 50. 
• The winner of each heat race will qualify for the redraw that will determine the first six starting positions. 
• The seventh and eighth starting positions will go to the fastest qualified drivers in Group A and Group B time trials who did not win their heat race. 
• Positions nine through 18 will be lined up based on the remaining second-place finishers by time within their group, followed by third-place finishers by time within their group. 
• Friday night's winner Lance Dewease will be given the 19th starting spot if he fails to qualify in through his heat race. 
• The top-two finishers in the C-Main will transfer to the B-Main. The top-four finishers in the B-Main will transfer to the Tuscarora 50. 
• Provisional starting spots are available to the driver highest in ASCoC owner points who has yet to qualify, the driver highest in the Port Royal point standings who has yet to qualify and the winner of last year's non-qualifier race if they fail to qualfy.
