A strong field of 410 Sprint Car drivers have their sights set on Port Royal Speedway this week for the 56th running of the prestigious Tuscarora 50. The biggest event on the Tezos All Star Circuit of Champions schedule will feature a battle between national Sprint Car stars and a fierce contingent of Pennsylvania stars knows as the PA Posse.

The strong field of drivers who will be chasing the $56,000 top prize makes it difficult to handicap the field, but we're going to give it our best effort. Here are 10 favorites to win the 56th Tuscarora 50 at Port Royal Speedway.

Anthony Macri

The list of favorites begins with the defending Tuscarora 50 winner. While Macri may no longer be behind the wheel of the No. 39M Macri Motorsports ride he drove to victory lane in last year, he's still a favorite anytime he's behind the wheel at Port Royal Speedway. This year, Macri will give it his best shot behind the wheel of the Indy Race Parts No. 71 machine.

Lance Dewease

With Macri out of the No. 39M ride, seven-time Tuscarora 50 winner Lance Dewease takes over driving duties for Macri Motorsports in an event that he knows a thing or two about winning. Dewease recently finished second and fourth in a pair of races aboard the No. 39M at Port Royal Speedway in August.

Tyler Courtney

Port Royal Speedway and the Tuscarora 50 haven't always been kind to Tyler Courtney, but you can never count out the two-time defending Tezos All Star Circuit of Champions champion. Courtney has one career USAC Sprint Car win at the track and a best Tuscarora 50 finish of seventh in his debut in 2020. After missing over a month of racing while recovering from a back injury, "Sunshine" is eager to make up for lost time. What better way to do that than winning the biggest race on the All Stars schedule?

Danny Dietrich

One doesn't think of Sprint Car racing in Pennsylvania without thinking of Danny Dietrich. The driver known as "Double D" knows how to find his way to the front when it comes to major Sprint Car races in his home state. One year ago, Dietrich finished third in the Tuscarora 50 to record his best finish in the race since 2011. He's also coming off a second-place finish in the Living Legends Race at Port Royal on August 19.

Brent Marks

While Brent Marks hasn't matched the stellar season that he had in 2022, he's still been one of the PA Posse's best in 2023. Marks enters the Tuscarora 50 with momentum on his side as the winner of the Living Legends Dream Race at Port Royal Speedway. Marks is no stranger to success in the Tuscarora 50, with a win in 2015 and a second-place finish one year ago on his resume.

Logan Wagner

It's hard to find a driver who has experienced more success at Port Royal Speedway in recent years than Logan Wagner. The five-time reigning track champion enters the race seeking his second Tuscarora 50 win in three years after winning the race in 2021. This year, Wagner will be behind the wheel of the Kreitz Racing No. 69K that has won six Tuscarora 50s, three with Lance Dewease and three with Don Kreitz Jr.

Justin Peck

From a crash at Bridgeport Speedway that forced him to miss time in May to a High Limit Sprint Car Series win at Kokomo Speedway in August, the 2023 season has been a rollercoaster ride for Justin Peck. He heads to Port Royal Speedway this week with a pair of top-five finishes in three starts at the track so far this season.

Dylan Cisney

The Mayor of Port Royal, Pennsylvania enters the Tuscarora 50 as the most recent Sprint Car winner at his home track after winning the Labor Day Classic on Monday. Cisney, a native of Port Royal, would love nothing more than to win the biggest Sprint Car race of the year at his home track.

Devon Borden

On a regular basis, there's been nobody better at Port Royal Speedway this season than Devon Borden. The driver of the No. 23 Sprint Car claimed his fifth victory of the season at Port Royal during the Butch Renninger Memorial event this past Sunday. Now, he'll have his sights set on claiming the biggest win of the year at the track.

Zeb Wise

While his career stats at Port Royal Speedway may not jump out to you on paper, you can't ignore the career season he's had with the Tezos All Star Circuit of Champions. As a six-time winner and the current leader in the driver point standings, Wise has been in contention at nearly every track he's been to all year long. He's recorded finishes of third, sixth and seventh in three starts this season at Port Royal Speedway.
