After Sunday’s Capitani Classic rained out, the 28th running of the Sage Fruit Front Row Challenge at Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa, Iowa, now has even greater anticipation as drivers and teams look to log an extra race before this week’s Knoxville Nationals.

Reigning winner Kyle Larson headlines the list of expected entries, which also includes Anthony Macri, Brock Zearfoss, Buddy Kofoid, Brent Marks, Carson Macedo, Cole Macedo, Corey Day, James McFadden, Justin Peck, Kasey Kahne, Parker Price-Miller, Shane Stewart, Ryan Timms, and Zeb Wise, among others.

As of 5:30 p.m. CT on Monday night, 36 drivers had registered for the event. The full list of entries as of that time can be found below.

Macri, the country’s winningest Sprint Car driver from a year ago, is driving the Clauson Marshall Racing No. 7BC as a sub for the injured Tyler Courtney, who’s recovering from a back injury.

With more than 100 drivers and teams stationed down the road in Knoxville, Iowa, for the week, many others could also compete in the $21,000-to-win event live on FloRacing. Last year, Larson passed Macedo with 10 laps to go for his second straight Front Row Challenge victory and third in the last four years.

Kofoid looks to carry over the speed he had in Sunday’s washed-out Capitani Classic when he set quick time in his group aboard the Roth Motorsports No. 83jr. The 17-year-old Day, who last week put on an impressive showing in the High Limit Sprint Car Series event at Kokomo Speedway, is aboard his familiar No. 14 owned by former World of Outlaws champion Jason Meyers.

Stewart, the 2017 Front Row Challenge winner, is driving the Indy Race Parts No. 71 machine owned by Bernie Stuebgen.

Gennetten (three wins), Timms (two wins), and Wise (five wins; four with the All Star Circuit of Champions), all have Sprint Car wins this year.

2019 winner of the event, Daryn Pittman, has the most Front Row Challenge appearances at 17 all-time feature starts but isn’t expected to race on Monday.

Those who can’t attend the Front Row Challenge at Southern Iowa Fairgrounds can watch all the action on FloRacing, as Monday’s broadcast begins at 7 p.m. CT.
