Event Preview: Street Car Braggin' Rights Presented by Vengeance Racing

After a wildly successful inaugural Street Car Braggin’ Rights race in 2022 at Carolina Dragway in Aiken, South Carolina, freshly minted race promoter and founder of Bring It Back Meets, Nate Prater, is bringin’ SCBR back for a second iteration with Street Car Braggin’ Rights Presented by Vengeance Racing on May 4-6, 2023.

“The House of Hook” will host the street car-centric event, which has been expanded from its original one-day format to three exciting days of racing and other jaw-dropping special events. Prater is known for adding tons of special touches to his events, including entertainment for children, fireworks shows, incredible custom trophies and awards, and so much more.

Although SCBR aims to create a new higher caliber of racing for street cars, the event will also feature a large car, motorcycle, and truck show on Saturday showcasing over twenty awards for those who prefer “show over go.”

Starting on Thursday night, test-n-tune kicks off with some of the area’s baddest street legal rides getting down the track’s legendary surface. On Friday and Saturday, more than $46,500 in guaranteed payouts will be awarded to the top finishers across ten different classes.

Admission is free for kids ages 12 and under, and special all access passes are available which include exclusive admittance to the starting line, second floor lounge in the control tower, hospitality tent, private luxury bathrooms, as well as snacks and refreshments plus high-end catered dinners both Friday and Saturday night from some of the area’s finest restaurants.
