Moving to a new home for 2023, the National Muscle Car Association (NMCA) starts its season at Florida’s Orlando Speed World Dragway with the 21st Annual Scoggin Dickey NMCA Muscle Car Mayhem Presented by Holbrook Racing Engines on March 17-19.

Fans will love watching the wild 3,000+ horsepower Xtreme Pro Mods show off the pinnacle of turbocharged, supercharged, and nitrous-assisted doorslammer drag racing performance while purists will appreciate the fresh-from-the-factory muscle car showcase in the Factory Super Cars class. Plenty of specialty shootouts are also on the schedule for the weekend, including small tire battles, HEMI-powered matchups, and more as well as the NMCA’s popular True Street category for the ultimate in street car shenanigans.

Additionally, the NMCA’s season opener will be hosting a special record-setting attempt by jet car superstar, Elaine Larsen, as she and her team push their flame-throwing jet dragsters to the limits in hopes of resetting the Florida land speed record.

The original Bigfoot monster truck that revolutionized off-roading for more than three decades will also be on display and the incredible work of innovative engineering will be made available for an exclusive up-close and in-person experience.

To make the weekend even better, in between all the thrilling on-track action, spectators can peruse the car show and check out tons of spectacular examples of muscle car perfection from every generation imaginable, score a deal on the manufacturer’s midway, and so much more in a family-friendly environment with admission being free for kids ages 12 and under.
